If you want to see something truly frightening, check out the following video (hat tip to the Housing Doom blog):

The fanatic agent represents Magical Thinking America and Peter Shiff everyone else.

Holy cow!

Video was pulled.

However, I saw a picture of the commenter... I know her from that one A&E show about Beverly Hills Real Estate.

It's frightening to watch that show. If even a fraction of a percent of people in the US would believe what those people believe, it's time to run, not walk out of California.

As Maynard Keenan says: "Flush it all away"

Too bad.

That realtor/agent was borderline histerical when she argued, and I paraphrase, "regardless of how far you think your market will fall, buy, buy, buy anyway; just offer what makes sense to you." In otherwords, she and people like her are desperate for their commission and you Mr. Buyer are responsible for making sure they get it.

You could hear Schiff and maybe even some people in the studio balking in the background.

Irrational fanaticism.

The video has been restored. Go to the Housing Doom site and watch the video. It's the perfect Halloween fright show:

Indeed. Dare I say, the desperation of that realtor is palpable.

Of course, she spun the scenario differently:

"Listen to Connie as she impresses Neil Cavuto with her knowledge and enthusiasm."

Wow! She is definitely in to herself. Wannabe model turned real estate agent with truck loads of wisdom and advice. She is so begging for ridicule. How long do you think before the bloggosphere destroys her?

I think her current facelift will last longer than her real estate career.
