Blogger PSA

I just wanted to formally announce and warmly welcome REskeptic as a new contributing (and this blog's first) team member on the Marin Real Estate Bubble blog. He and I have had some extremely insightful and interesting email exchanges in the past and his comments are always on topic and informative and so I look forward to his contributions to this blog. Welcome and thank you.

Just an FYI: I'm not Marinite's alter ego, despite a few unfounded suspicions. We probably share a similar skepticism towards the current real estate scene, but I'll have a somewhat different angle in my posts.

I look forward to reading REskeptics commentary. This as always remains one of my favorite sites.

Just curious.. what is the mission of this blog?? Other than collecting selected data from other blogs/sites on the internet that support your positions, what are you here to express??? thx

Just curious.. what is the mission of this blog??

Getting people to question assumptions isn't a bad "mission" here, let alone many disciplines in life. We can do ourselves a favor by keeping an open mind.

Yes, question assumptions vis-a-vis the housing market in general and in Marin in particular. If we need to have a formal mission statement, then that would probably be it.

Our opinions...that's what we express. Some of us Anonymous and some not...
