New ZipRealty Feature

ZipRealty has added a new feature:
Customer Home Reviews – customers can now post home reviews on any home they see for sale on our website. So far, we have had a pretty healthy number of reviews coming in from our clients. We have seen things from comparable sales, estimates from Zillow, and qualitative reviews of homes (roach-infested, etc…). Reviews are based on curb appeal, interior appeal, neighborhood, and an overall rating. Customers can also provide their own comments.
So now you can tell sellers what you really think of their POS. This should also help to inform potential buyers. I love the internet.

Information wants to be free.

Real estate agents are becoming obsolete.

Power to the people!

Now ZipRealty just needs to add a clear indication of the sales pricing history for each listing and then sellers will have nowhere to hide and the buyer will be in control.

You can without a lot of trouble bounce the address right over to www.zillow.com and get, in many cases, sales records dating back quite a few years.

Zillow will also give you in many cases the CORRECT lot based on address, where both Ziprealty and Google Maps are wrong. Having the adjacent lot lines is also very helpful. Again, only on Zillow, to my knowledge.
